Gold House, a leading cultural platform, today unveiled its 2026 Gold100 list, recognizing 100 influential Asian Pacific leaders who have profoundly shaped global culture over the past year. These honorees collectively lead companies valued at over $10 trillion and represent governments serving millions of citizens, underscoring their immense impact across diverse sectors. The announcement culminates in the annual Gold Gala in Los Angeles, celebrating these trailblazers.

The Gold100, previously known as the A100, is meticulously curated by "a coalition of leading Asian Pacific organizations and cultural icons," as stated by GOLD HOUSE in a recent social media post. The organization expressed its profound honor to collaborate with this "illustrious judging body to further culture together," ensuring a comprehensive and impactful selection process. This year's list highlights a fundamental shift where cultural power is increasingly recognized as a primary engine for the modern world.

The 2026 list features leaders driving significant advancements across entertainment, technology, gaming, sports, social impact, and fashion. Notably, Alexandr Wang, Meta's first Chief AI Officer, and Demis Hassabis, co-founder and CEO of Google DeepMind and a Nobel Prize laureate, are recognized in technology. In sports, Eileen Gu, the most decorated Olympic freeskier, is honored, while Zohran Mamdani, New York's first Muslim and South Asian mayor, is celebrated for his social impact.

Further illustrating the breadth of influence, the Gold100 includes Grammy-winning music artist Kehlani, fashion designer Sandy Liang, and U.S. Poet Laureate Arthur Sze. Gold House CEO Bing Chen and COO Jeremy Tran emphasized the organization's philosophy, stating, "culture is not just expression—it is infrastructure." They further asserted that the leaders on the Gold100 are "proving that the ability to shape culture is the ability to shape markets, movements, and the future itself."

The achievements of the Gold100 will be celebrated at the Gold Gala on May 9, 2026, in Los Angeles, an event hailed as the definitive annual Asian Pacific cultural celebration. In a broader show of recognition, iconic landmarks across North America, including the Empire State Building in New York City and the Willis Tower in Chicago, will illuminate in gold to honor the Asian Pacific community and the significant contributions of the Gold100 honorees.
