Miami, Florida – Speculation is mounting among Miami real estate brokers that Elon Musk, the world's wealthiest individual, recently toured a lavish $300 million modern mansion currently under construction in the exclusive North Bay Road area. The New York Post's "Gimme Shelter" column first reported the rumors, citing multiple sources close to the development. Developer Todd Michael Glaser confirmed an unnamed billionaire visited the property in spectacular fashion, arriving by helicopter and raft.

The property, located at 5940 North Bay Road, is being developed into a state-of-the-art residence expected to be priced around $300 million upon completion. Glaser detailed that the future mansion will feature extensive glass, a green rooftop space, and a 31-car garage. It is also being built with the "newest technology" to withstand hurricanes and will sit 17 feet above the flood zone, ensuring resilience against environmental challenges.

Developer Todd Michael Glaser remained coy about the identity of the high-profile visitor, stating, "He might have," when asked if it was Musk. Glaser added, "I don’t get involved in who sees it." The developer also indicated that the home would not be shown again until its completion, which is anticipated within the next two years, aiming for a dramatic reveal.

The site itself has a storied history; Glaser and investors acquired the 2.3-acre property with 290 feet on Biscayne Bay for $105 million last July, subsequently flipping it for $169 million two months later. This rapid appreciation underscores the intense demand for ultra-luxury real estate in Miami. The current project aims to create an unparalleled offering in the market.

This potential interest from Musk contrasts with his recent public statements and actions regarding real estate. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO famously declared his intention to sell all his physical possessions, including multiple mansions, and has reportedly been living in more modest accommodations, including a tiny home near SpaceX facilities in Texas. His alleged tour of such an opulent Miami estate, if confirmed, would mark a significant shift in his stated minimalist living philosophy.
