NEW YORK & SAN FRANCISCO – Blackstone, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, and Anthropic have announced the formation of "Synergy AI Advisors," a new consulting firm dedicated to accelerating the integration of artificial intelligence within private equity-backed companies. The venture is backed by an initial commitment of $150 million from its founding partners and aims to enhance operational efficiency and drive value creation. This development directly challenges the notion that "AI will kill consulting," as noted by industry observers.
Synergy AI Advisors will focus on providing strategic AI implementation, talent development, and the deployment of proprietary AI solutions. The firm seeks to address the growing demand for specialized AI expertise in the private equity sector, where many companies may lack internal resources to effectively leverage advanced AI technologies. Operations are expected to commence in Q3 2026.
Dr. Evelyn Reed, formerly Head of AI Strategy at a major tech conglomerate, will lead the new firm as CEO. "The potential for AI to transform businesses is immense, but its successful adoption requires deep expertise and a tailored approach," Dr. Reed stated. She emphasized that Synergy AI Advisors will bridge this gap, enabling clients to harness AI for significant competitive advantages.
