The comprehensive delegation included Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, alongside permanent and deputy permanent representatives from each of the Alliance's member states. Admiral Cavo Dragone, who assumed his role in June 2024, brings extensive experience in joint force command and international operations, highlighting the military dimension of the visit. NATO's relationship with Ukraine has deepened considerably, particularly since Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022.
