🇩🇪 Enter Germany

The coal ministry signed a technical cooperation pact with GIZ, Germany's development agency.

Backed by Germany's BMZ and co-financed by the EU, it's a €10 million project running till 2030.

Coal secretary Vikram Dev Dutt called mine closure "a critical stage" — where extraction must hand the baton to restoration.
