ROC just announced it has delivered nearly 800 of these monopiles, plus the secondary steel structures that go with them, for projects in China and overseas.

Someone has to build the boring, heavy, unbreakable steel base first.
ROC also helped build Huadian 1001, China's first offshore wind installation vessel, and a 4,000-ton heavy-lift ship.
Translation: they're not just supplying parts. They're building the machines that install the parts.
Everyone talks about solar panels and battery breakthroughs.
Almost nobody talks about monopile factories.
Yet without them, offshore wind farms simply don't exist.
