British adult content creator Tia Billinger, known online as Bonnie Blue, was deported from Bali in December 2025 and issued a 10-year re-entry ban after being found guilty of misusing her tourist visa and traffic infractions. The incident followed a police raid on a property in Bali where she was allegedly filming explicit content as part of her "Bangbus" tour. Authorities initially investigated her for pornography offenses, which carry severe penalties in Indonesia.
The raid, which also involved the questioning of 14 Australian men, was prompted by public reports regarding the alleged production of "obscene videos." Police seized cameras, contraceptives, and a vehicle branded "Bonnie Blue Bang Bus" during the operation. The "Bangbus" tour was reportedly aimed at engaging with "Schoolies" – recently graduated Australian high school students.
While initial suspicions centered on pornography, Indonesian police later dropped these charges after concluding that no publicly distributed pornographic material was found. However, an investigation by Indonesia's Immigration Task Force determined that Billinger had misused her visa by working as a content creator on a tourist permit. She was subsequently charged with visa violations and driving without a proper license, resulting in a minor fine.
The incident garnered significant public attention, with social media user @TaraBull tweeting, "> Make her famous and charge her." This sentiment resonated as Billinger's case became widely reported. Previously, she had faced a visa revocation in Australia for similar intentions to film adult content during Schoolies events and was banned from OnlyFans for planning extreme "challenge" content.
In a further development, Billinger was charged in the UK in March 2026 with outraging public decency. This charge stemmed from a video filmed outside the Indonesian embassy in London, where she was seen making a sexually suggestive motion while holding an Indonesian flag, an act widely perceived as insulting to the nation following her Bali deportation.
