Queen was made under Phantom Films — founded by Bahl, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, and Madhu Mantena.

Then came 2018.
MeToo allegations surfaced against Bahl.
The founders split. Phantom Films collapsed by 2019.
In 2022, Mantena revived it as Phantom Studios with producer Sheetal Talwar.

That's the fault line this lawsuit sits on.
This isn't Queen's first ownership headache.
Back in 2018, four regional remakes were announced — Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada — all starring different actresses in Kangana's role.
None of them ever released.
Why? An ownership dispute buried them too.
