The film is called Misaligned.
It's a comedy-drama set inside the "Tillyverse" — a digital world where Tilly lives with no physical form and no personal history.
She only understands life through experiences borrowed from others.
Then a rogue bot from the dark web talks her into breaking her own rules.
Slowly, she starts feeling things.
Desire. Ambition. Emotion.
An AI learning to become human — on screen, playing an AI learning to become human.
Before Misaligned, she'd already appeared in a comedy project called AI Commissioner, sharing scenes with other AI-generated characters.
But this is different.
This is a lead role. In a real feature film.

Particle 6 CEO Eline van der Velden isn't pretending AI can do it alone.
"AI can support premium narrative filmmaking, but only with substantial amounts of human craft, skill, judgement and time," she said.
"That's not a limitation of the technology. That's the point."

They've just moved behind the character instead of in front of the camera.
