When is Munna Bhai 3 happening?
Fans have begged. Memes have been made. Rumours have come and gone.
And today, Rajkumar Hirani finally said the quiet part out loud.
The script isn't missing.
There are three of them.
While promoting his first-ever web series Pritam and Pedro (streaming on JioHotstar from July 3), Hirani and Arshad Warsi dropped a confession that flips the entire Munna Bhai mystery on its head.

"There are actually three pretty much unfinished scripts sitting there. And all three are genuinely better than most of the scripts I have ever heard."
Three.

Not zero.

Hirani says ideas come easy. Endings don't.

"You just have to write with your gut and leave it at that."
