The study found four countries own most of the world's heat-risk hotspots:

And here's the twist:

👉 Over 95% of the highest-risk cities sit in South and Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Not Europe. Not the US.

The places least responsible for global warming are the ones paying the steepest price.

Oxford researcher Radhika Khosla put it bluntly: over-relying on energy-hungry cooling risks feeding the very warming we're trying to escape.
